  • Graduate Student, Web Writer
  • Stanford University

I'm originally from the Carolinas and made my way out to California to study contemporary literature of the Americas. I study literature in Spanish, Portuguese, and English, but what I find myself focusing on most these days is how best to teach those languages and their literatures to others. I took a job at Stanford's Center for Teaching and Learning as a webwriter, and since then I've been working as a reporter and blogger about teaching and learning around the university. I am also about to start working as a consultant for other graduate TAs to facilitate feedback sessions and micro teaching events.

Right now, I'm very interested in learning more about AltAc positions that are directly involved in TA training and continued pedagogical training for staff and faculty.
