I have always been interested in English and writing -- I was a student in the Orange County School of the Arts's creative writing conservatory for three years, and continue to write poetry and prose as I make my way through university. In summer of 2013, I was a research assistant for the Kindred Britain project (kindred.stanford.edu) in the Digital Humanities at Stanford, which sparked an interest for me in how humanities work can be made more accessible to a broad audience through technology.
