I'm a PhD candidate at UC Davis, finishing a dissertation on alternative nationalist literatures in the 19th-century United States.

As an educator, I'm interested in online learning and digital technology. As a writer and researcher, I'm interested in how digital technology can help us understand stories and reach audiences more effectively. As a human being, I'm interested in finding communities of interesting people, reading good books, and being outside.

At THATCamp, I want to figure out how to play upon all of these interests and skills in alt-ac careers.
